Comparison of Fuzzy Time Series Chen and Cheng to Forecast Indonesia Rice Productivity

Based on BPS data in 2019, around 90% of Indonesians consume rice as the main product their carbohydrate needs. With fourth most populous country world, Indonesia's consumption 2021 will reach 31.50 million tons. production is currently not able to supply needs domestic consumption. Therefore, Indonesian government chose import for Forecasting method can help reduce uncertainty about future productivity. This research discuss comparison forecasting results fuzzy timeseries using chen and cheng models productivity Indonesia. The based percentage eror or this MAPE value used an indicator. obtained model 18% 12%. result analysis found that smaller than model. It means more appropriate Indonesia rice.
